This is a list of all Status Effects in combat. Status Effects can be either positive or negative and can be used to aid or hinder characters and their enemies.
Embellishments to armor can grant immunity to particular Status Effects, and runes engraved on weapons can inflict negative Status Effects on enemies. Alterations are available by visiting the nearest Blacksmith.
Positive
This is a list of all positive Status Effects. Most positive statuses are temporary and their longevity varies. When characters obtain these positive status effects through spells, the status length depends on the level of the caster's Essence.
Description | Cure | |
---|---|---|
Regen | Short for 'regeneration'. This healing status gradually increases the HP of the affected character. The speed and level of health obtained is dependent on the character's Essence. | N/A |
Boost | Characters with the Boost status can inflict double damage, including double weapon damage, on enemies during combat. | N/A |
Protect | This status safeguards the character's HP, and they suffer less damage. | N/A |
Haste | This status increases the speed and combat recovery time of the affected character. | N/A |
Negative
This is a list of all negative Status Effects.
Description | Cure | |
---|---|---|
Poison | When poisoned in combat, characters gradually lose HP over time. | Emerald Panacea |
Slow | This status is the opposite of Haste; it slows the character and lengthens their recovery time after receiving damage. | Time or Sapphire Panacea |
Freeze | This status effect is similar to Stun. It stops the target from moving and causes it to suffer full damage during combat. | Time |
Curse | This negative status makes its afflicted more vulnerable. It causes the target to suffer double damage during combat. | Time or Blazing Panacea |
Weaken | This status greatly weakens its affected character. They inflict just half of the damage that they normally would, and characters have a lower probability of inflicting a critical hit on an enemy. | Time or Blazing Panacea |
An additional effect is Stun, which cannot be utilized by players or defended against.
Stun | When Stunned, characters are unable to move for a short period of time. This opens them up to damage by any surrounding enemy. | Suffering damage |
